Recommended my friend Calc, I’m rather surprised I haven’t seen it before. It’s quite enjoyable and I’m highly sympathetic, although generally speaking it doesn’t seem to present the strongest argument for the defense or show the way that actors other than generals screw up the acquisition process.
The two counter-arguments I’d have liked to have seen addressed were to compare the Bradley to the prior armored personnel carrier and the larger trade-offs in the advantages of a light vehicle and survivability[/heavy armor (they do raise the point that the original lower profile may have raised survivability without adding armor]. Guess I’ll have to read the book and see if it’s addressed there.
